 Компания сотовой связи, имеющая лицензию на работу в В-диапазоне частот. Термин специфичен для американских систем, в которых весь частотный диапазон 800-900 МГц, отведенный для сотовой связи, поделен пополам между двумя операторами, названными условно А и В. Исторически оператор В - это компания специализирующаяся на предоставлении услуг беспроводного доступа. Все мобильные телефоны запрограммированы для работы только в одном диапазоне (А или В), что означает возможность поиска каналов управления только одного вида (как запрограммирован терминал). См.
